That's why at Matt's DJ Service, every one of our DJ packages includes two forms of lighting - an upright light bar the dance floor, and uplighting to properly set the mood for the venues that we go to. We also offer add on lighting to all of our packages that include lights such as projected starlights and monograms to add to the experience. Uplighting is the projection of lights from the floor of your venue up to the ceiling, which bathes the walls in whatever color you want, and helps soften up the edges of the room to make it feel warmer or colder, to whatever emotional effect you want your lighting to have. At this venue, we used our uplights to cover the pillars of the room in a vibrant, dark pink that made it seem as if the pillars were made of light itself! We use the architecture of the venue in combination with uplighting to accentuate and improve the experience of the room itself.

Our DJ's are well versed and knowledgable about our uplights, and can make most lighting requests happen without any problem. If something needs to be changed the day of, that's no problem! There have been many times that once projected, it was decided that the color needed to be changed - and so it was done, in less than 10 minutes.
